My Story

I am taking part in the Virtual London Marathon to raise money for the Jersey Employment Trust.

It’s going to be a challenge because although I walk into work most days which is a 10k round trip and I have done a half-marathon before, I haven’t run for a number of years. I’m going to try and run a bit of it, and probably walk most of it, but aim to finish in a reasonable time. This is going to get me moving!!

My employer Jersey Post have a great relationship with JET and I have worked with them in previous roles too. They do an amazing job not only securing roles for people who have a disability or long-term health conditions, but also supporting them through their careers.
