My Story
Last year proved to be brilliant, so, I'm participating in the Virtual London Marathon again this year!
This year I am raising money for something near and dear to my heart, the Galactosaemia Support Group.
Samantha, my youngest, was born with this very RARE condition! Between 12-18 children, a year, in the UK, are born with this condition. Samantha is unable to metabolise the sugar galactose, so, requires a dairy free diet. You wouldn't believe the number of crisp flavours that contain milk, besides the obvious ones!
The money I raise will go towards research, publications and away weekends for families and/or adults who live with galactosaemia.
