The virtual TCS London Marathon takes place on the same day as the mass event, allowing tens of thousands of people from all over the world to take part alongside those running on the streets of London.

Participants in the virtual event have a full 24 hours to complete their 26.2 miles, which they can tackle in pretty much any way they like – they can walk sections (or the whole distance!) if they choose, making the virtual TCS London Marathon one of the most inclusive there is. This flexibility also gives participants lots of options for raising funds for charity – the more creative, the better!

Once they’ve finished their virtual marathon, participants can log their results – with the help of the Official App powered by TCS – in order to receive their finishers’ medals and T-shirts, just like participants in the mass event.
